About Mia Mia's Kitchen

Located in the lively Kuta area of Lombok, this Indonesian spot offers a down-to-earth dining experience that feels casual yet cozy. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably stop by for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or family. The menu leans toward local flavors, including classic dishes like Nasi Goreng, Satay Ayam, and Beef Rendang, alongside some Western options like burgers and pasta, making it approachable for a range of tastes.

Visitors often come for the generous portions and good value, appreciating both the traditional Indonesian specialties and a handful of vegetarian or vegan choices. The atmosphere balances a trendy, casual vibe with a welcoming spirit, attracting college students, groups, tourists, and locals alike. It’s a place where the tea and coffee selection nicely complements the food, and the quick bite option suits those looking for a straightforward, satisfying meal.

Though the service can slow down during busy times, arriving early helps avoid the wait. The staff is generally attentive and kind, contributing to a relaxed setting where people feel at ease lingering over their meals. While the spot offers handy amenities like delivery, takeout, and free parking, it’s worth noting that accessibility options are limited. Payment is flexible, with both cards and cash accepted, though some prefer cash to avoid extra fees.

All in all, it’s a solid choice for anyone exploring Kuta’s local dining scene, especially those seeking a genuine taste of Indonesian cuisine without any fuss.

What Locals Say

Good food for a good price. I’ve had better in Indonesia, but definitely worse too. If you want to try local cuisine, this might be the right choice.

If you want local restaurant that serves local food as well as some west cousine this is the place. Prices are very affordable. We had Nasi and Mi goreng, burgers and Satay Ayam. Everything was super tasty, very quickly prepared and it was great experience all together.

Really yummy local Warung taste that is not tailored to white. Very affordable, we came here for lunch most days. But service can get very slow so better go early if you're hungry. They accept card at no surcharge.

Great choice if you’re hungry and looking for good value. I’ve been coming here for years and Mia Mia never disappoints. Big portions for fair prices — the curry, beef rendang, and creamy mushroom pasta are all excellent. The staff is amazing, always kind and helpful. Tip: better to pay in cash, they charge a small fee for card payments.

I went to Mia Mia’s 3 times, 10/10. I fav was the gado gado which was full on the best one I had in all of Indo. The portions are massive which is also nice
